Radiologic Technologist Job Description:
HCW(s) must be ab able to perform exams on all CT scanners fixed or portable.
· Verify and identify patient and procedure information in accordance with command policy.
· The HCW shall log arrival and departure of patients in the commands hospital information system (CHCS) and in the scanner log books.
· Continuously monitor pending orders on all shifts for inpatient requests, EMD and/or STAT Urgent or ASAP orders.
· Review all images, send appropriate image series, and check PACs for each exam to ensure ALL images transmit from scanner to the radiologist for reading according to department protocol.
